I receive this chain mail from a co-worker. And of course all the fonts are HUMONGUOS and bright RED... wink**wink**wink** attention here!! here!! Sooo annoying right. So the email goes like,

This will open your eyes.
What does Obama read?

The name of the book Obama is reading is called The Post-American World, written by a muslim.
Post-America? After America?


I just lost it and I usually never cared about this stupid chain mails, but I decided to email my coworker and everybody else back.
here's my reply;

Let it be known the name of the author is Fareed Zakaria, a Muslim Indian is someone who believes that American foreign policy should be guided by a conception of its national interest.

Which means his primary interest is the state's survival and security. Also important is the pursuit of wealth and economic growth and power.

This book alone is not a book about the decline of America, but rather about the rise of everyone else. The growth of countries like China, India, Brazil, Russia, and many others as the great story of our time, and one that will reshape the world. The tallest buildings, biggest dams, largest-selling movies, and most advanced cell phones are all being built outside the United States. This economic growth is producing political confidence, national pride, and potentially international problems. How should the United States understand and thrive in this rapidly changing international climate? What does it mean to live in a truly global era? Is when this book serves its purpose.



You also made your point across by pinpointing his religuos belief, but what is it you’re trying to get across? Is it something negative? That all Muslims are terrorists?

Ask yourself firstly, who is sitting on whose country dictating how they should live?

Hamas is Palestinians patriots, just like any other militants, people who are the most loyal to their countries. They are only defending their land from Israeli occupation.

Something US shouldn’t meddle in from the first place. Especially since our US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and President George W. Bush approved, funded and armed another militia (Mohammed Dahlan) to go against the Hamas is an absurdity.

So before you start blindly believing in things, do your own research for fuck sake's. The information is out there, Internet is not the Anti Christ.
